I started running in the Summer of 2017, and since then I have taken to it rather religiously with consistent 20+ mi weeks, a training regimen, and diet. I find that long runs help me think better, prioritize, and channelize my ideas for research/ coursework/ teaching. In someways, I find distance running synonymous to pursuing a PhD — a personal, slow, and sometimes painful journey towards the finish line.
